Maori legends

 The missing hangi 

Kia ora bloggers in my last post I tolled you that my school have been learning about Maori culture, so in writing we wrote a Maori legend. My legend is called The missing hangi and it is about a small tribe that they finally found good food. Over all I am quite proud of my peace of work .

    Hi Evie, Scarlett here.
    Your myth is really interesting, I liked the part when the hangi disappeared.
    Did you know that the maori name for huhu grubs is Tunga? 🙂

    Your legend is awesome Evie, I like how you have thought of a moral to your story. Just a note that you have one small spelling mistake on your introduction 'peace' should be 'piece' (not really a spelling mistake, just the wrong version!)
